Been There
Done That!
Where have you been? What have you done?
Explore food, attractions, landmarks, tours, and real-world experiences. Track what you have visited, rank what stood out, and find what is worth doing next.
The Theme
Been There Done That! is built around the idea that exploring should feel fun. Whether you are trying a new local restaurant, ranking a roller coaster, tracking a landmark, or deciding what to do next, the app turns real-world discovery into something you can remember, compare, and enjoy.
Start with the simple question.
Find something nearby, decide whether you have been there or done that, and let the app build a useful memory of the places and experiences that shape your tour.
Example Place
Food, ride, landmark, show, exhibit, stay, or somewhere wonderfully specific.
Track the visit first. Ranking is there when you are ready to say how it stacked up.
How We Rank
Rankings are meant to capture the feel of an experience, not turn every outing into a math problem. Different things deserve different questions, so a slice of pizza, a roller coaster, a hotel, and a landmark can each be judged by criteria that make sense for what they are.
Personal rank meets world rank.
Your rankings help build your own history while also contributing to broader community scores. The goal is to compare without flattening everything into one generic star rating. We have built a multi-pillar system into the rankings that allows for more detailed results. Remember from school that a B or a C is not a bad mark. They both represent a positive experience while letting A stand out above. The S tier should be extremely hard to achieve, and those results will stand out over time.
Who Is Ben Dunn?
Earth has welcomed intergalactic tourists for generations and is considered a must-do destination. Ben Dunn is the latest traveler to arrive, bringing along his favorite tools for discovering everything Earth has to offer. But even Ben cannot do it all alone. He needs Tour Buddies to help explore the food, amusement, sightseeing, entertainment, recreation, relaxation, and wonderfully strange corners of the planet. Been There Done That! is the tool built to help everyone tour Earth a little better.

Tell Us Where to Build Next
BTDT will keep growing city by city, park by park, and plate by plate. If your area is light on listings, telling us where you are from helps us prioritize what to add next. You can also help by updating your Home Location in the app settings. This helps the team know where the tourists are.
Suggestions help shape which local food spots, attractions, landmarks, menus, tours, and experiences get built into the app sooner. If you plan to travel, tell us where you are going and we will work to prioritize additions.
Tour Guides
Tour Guides are independent creators who can build tours inside BTDT. If you already make food videos, travel guides, attraction content, local recommendations, or themed outings, Tour Guide access can help your content reach tourists while they are deciding what to do next.
Tours can point tourists toward the stops, stories, favorites, and experiences you want to share. We are looking for creators, planners, and local voices who want to help make real-world exploration more useful and more fun.

FAQ
Quick answers for tourists, reviewers, and anyone wondering what BTDT is trying to become.
Is Been There Done That available now?
Public store listings are coming soon. Store links will be added here after the App Store and Google Play pages are live.
Why is my city missing places?
The team is working hard to add in all the places to be and things to do. There is a lot to build, and we appreciate your understanding. You can help us greatly by sending us a request, recommending additions in the app, or updating your home location in your profile so we know where to focus.
Can tourists add or suggest places?
The app includes ways to help us add missing objects and improve data. Suggestions are reviewed so the app can grow without turning into a messy free-for-all.
What does the gold band around my Been There mean?
The gold band means you were verified to be at the location when you completed the interaction. It is based on your phone allowing location to be seen by the app, as well as accurate coordinates associated to the physical location.
What is a Tour Guide?
A Tour Guide is an independent creator who can build tours inside BTDT. Those tours may be food crawls, attraction plans, sightseeing ideas, themed outings, or other grouped experiences. We invite those creators to share their interests and allow their content to be seen by tourists by sharing links to their content.
Why are there no comments?
We respect other platforms that give users ways to express reviews and comments about their experiences. With those expressions you will see the good, but you can also see the bad, and we want to avoid negative behavior inside BTDT. This also means no direct mentions within the platform.
Why are you using a tier system?
In our estimation, the star system has become stale. Most people will just click five stars to get it off the screen without considering what it means to rank something. The 10/10 style is often just the five-star system with more math. The tier system allows for more nuanced ranking with a grade system that most people can understand.
